New car registrations in the UK fell by 1% year-on-year in February, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), with 84,054 vehicles registered. Year-to-date figures also show a 1.9% decrease compared to the same period in 2024, with 227,762 registrations.
