Scottish Edge Awards

Danu Robotics, a University of Edinburgh spin-out, has secured £75,000 in grant funding after taking honours at this year's Scottish Edge Awards. The company focusses on developing sustainable technological solutions for the benefit of the environment. The firm was founded by Xiaoyan Ma.

Scottish businesses have been awarded a total of £1 million at the Scottish Edge Awards finals. Scottish Edge is the UK's largest funding competition for small businesses and provides a support package to companies' which includes mentoring and advice on obtaining alternative finance.
