Aberdeen-headquartered offshore support vessel operator North Star has secured a £425 million debt investment to solidify its position in the offshore wind sector.

North Star has secured a £140 million financing package to support the next phase of its offshore wind growth plan.

Global private markets firm Partners Group has agreed on behalf of its clients to acquire Aberdeen-based infrastructure company North Star from Basalt Infrastructure Partners for an undisclosed sum.
