Despite rising economic concerns, 93 new businesses were created every hour across the UK in the first half of 2022, according to research by business lender iwoca.

High Street banks have slashed financial support for SMEs in Scotland by £465 million, a decrease of 5.8% between 2014 and 2018, according to Iwoca.
