ASSET MANAGER 
EVH GRADE 8 - £46,728 - £50,556 per annum

West Highland Housing Association provides housing and support services to over 1,400 tenants and owners within Oban, Lorn and the Isles. Our customers are at the heart of our business, and we strive to deliver customer service excellence in all that we do.

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to manage our Assets team and be responsible for the strategic planning of investment projects and planned maintenance programmes. In addition, you will lead the operational management of reactive repairs and our approach to estates management, ensuring the organisation meets all statutory and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring that your team are supported and trained to deliver an outstanding service to our customers. You will be expected to analyse customer and service data to continually improve delivery. You will also proactively look for opportunities to maximise the use of digital technology across the service area and look for innovative solutions to service challenges.

You will require previous experience in an asset or investment role, where you will have worked with a diverse range of property types, developed asset strategies, formulated investment and implemented planned maintenance programmes with significant project management experience.

Experience in procuring services and works contracts for construction projects is essential and you will be expected to play a critical role in our journey towards EESSH2 and Net Zero by working collaboratively with Link Group colleagues in delivering our group wide sustainability strategy.

The post-holder will require experience of managing and coaching staff teams, with the ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplinary function to meet defined objectives and targets, whilst prioritising your own workload with minimal supervision.

It is essential that you have effective interpersonal and communication skills, can work effectively in pressured situations and be adaptable and flexible in your approach. Training will be provided to help support the successful candidate to fully meet all requirements of the role.
