Wylie & Bisset promotes Claire Dalrymple to director of corporate services
Chartered accountants Wylie & Bisset has promoted Claire Dalrymple from senior audit manager to director of corporate services.
The promotion follows Ms Dalrymple’s Audit Qualification ratified by ICAS, making her a Responsible Individual able to sign off audits alongside partners Scott Gillon and Jenny Simpson in the firm’s busy corporate services department.
Specialising in providing audit services and business advice covering a variety of SME business sectors, following her promotion Ms Dalrymple will focus on food and drink manufacturing businesses; a market segment of growing importance to the firm.
Having previously trained with Wylie & Bisset, Ms Dalrymple re-joined the firm four years ago, having worked for a top 10 UK accounting practice for 13 years and for one of the big four for a couple of years.
Commenting on her promotion, Ms Dalrymple said: “I am delighted to have obtained my RI status and to be promoted to director with a remit to focus on food and drink and manufacturing.
“As a firm, Wylie & Bisset is a great fit for me and the place where my career moves to the next level whenever I am working here! I am looking forward to the new challenges that having my RI status brings and further expanding my client portfolio.”
Commenting on the promotion, Donald McKinnon, managing partner at Wylie & Bisset, added: “We are delighted that Claire has obtained her RI status and fully acknowledge the dedication and hard work she has provided on behalf of her clients that has earned her this well-deserved promotion.
“Claire’s promotion enhances our corporate department’s provision of internal and external auditing, due diligence, tax advice, corporate governance, risk management and transaction support services, ensuring independent and objective financial management advice at a time when food and drink manufacturing businesses start the recovery process from the upheaval caused by COVID-19.”
