Margaret Egan has over 30 years’ payroll experience operating the full gamut of software packages and advising clients on all the increasingly complex and ever-changing processes and regulations involved in the vital accountancy function.

Ms Egan said: “At the start of my career, payroll was mostly regarded as an add-on service: now it’s seen as one of the core accountancy functions, with an increasing number of deadlines and regulations needing to be met, leading to many clients no longer wishing to process their own payroll.

“As an automation and robotics enthusiast always seeking to review changes to payroll software and IT infrastructure, I’m greatly looking forward to leading and growing what is already a very well-established payroll team in this new role.”
