Weatherbys expands in Scotland with new private banker

Hannah Law

Weatherbys Private Bank has appointed Hannah Law as a private banker to its Edinburgh office as it continues to attract new Scottish clients.

Ms Law joins Weatherbys after having spent the past decade at Citi in London, latterly working for its professional services group advising clients from large global accountancy and recruitment firms. During her 10-year career at Citi, she also worked in clients’ services looking after ultra-high-net-worth clients and in its private equity fund finance division.

Ms Law’s appointment comes as Weatherbys presence in Scotland continues to build momentum and grow regionally. In 2024, it opened an additional office two doors away from its first Edinburgh office based in Rutland Square to meet its growing needs. Clients include everyone from professionals, young entrepreneurs and small business owners to traditional landowners in the far reaches of Scotland.

As it approaches its second decade with a dedicated office in Scotland, Weatherbys will pursue further growth by looking to attract clients living in other cities including Glasgow and Aberdeen. Its insurance brand Weatherbys Hamilton also operates from the Bank’s office in Rutland Square.
