VAT & Indirect Tax Advisors (VITA) has announced the arrival of associate director Tony Cochrane to bolster its VAT advisory offering.

This takes the VITA team to seven, cementing its position of being the largest independent firm of VAT & Indirect Tax advisors in Scotland.

VITA who are based at Baltic Chambers, Glasgow, specialise in VAT along with the upcoming Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), a new form of environmental taxation.

Managing partner Greg McNally said: “Having worked with Tony previously, I know the exceptional talent that he brings, and we are delighted he has joined us.

“VITA has seen a period of sustained growth and expects to continue this trend in the coming years. Tony also gives us additional capacity that enables us to deliver a quality service whilst being able to and pause long enough to ensure we identify those added value opportunities that are sometimes harder to spot in the hustle of a fast-paced advisory environment.”

Mr Cochrane added: “I’m excited to join VITA, a fast-growing firm with a fantastic reputation for providing high quality support and value to its clients.

“It is a brilliant time to join, and I look forward to helping clients understand and navigate their VAT and Indirect Tax issues and opportunities.”
