US: Wall Street financier killed in freak shark attack
A private equity manager at Wall Street firm WL Ross & Co. has been killed in a rare shark attack.
Rohina Bhandari, 49, suffered fatal bites to her legs while diving near Cocos Island, around 300 miles off the coast of Costa Rica.
She was a senior director at her firm and frequently attended New York City charity events.
Ms Bhandari was reportedly attacked by a tiger shark, a common predator around the Pacific Islands.
A diving guide who tried to intervene was also injured, but survived.
