Stephen Webster, chief executive at Thorntons Investments, said: “Recruiting three such experienced and accomplished practitioners, highlights our on-going progression as a thriving and ambitious company which is keen to invest in good people. Alison Miller, formerly with Edinburgh based Anderson Strathern, joins the company as Financial Planner. During her career, she has advised on all areas of private client work, with particular emphasis on asset protection, inheritance tax planning and estate planning. Alison is a solicitor and will work one day per week with Thorntons Law LLP to assist with the drafting of Wills, Power of Attorney documents and trusts to assist families and high net worth individuals with their affairs.

Susan Bennett said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the company alongside Matthew and Alison. Thorntons Investments has a great team culture with a clear ambition for the future. I look forward to working with my new team to extend our high levels of customer service to our clients.”

These significant positions are of strategic importance to Thorntons Investments and reflect its ambitious growth plans for 2017.
