Thomson Cooper budget event turns 20

A prominent business event celebrates a special anniversary this year, thanks to the loyal support of the business community.

Thomson Cooper Accountants will be hosting their twentieth Budget Analysis at the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline, Fife on Friday 10th March, the longest running event of its kind in the region.

The seminar is free and features a workshop on pension auto-enrolment and a networking lunch.

The firm are also hosting a Budget Breakfast Analysis event in Edinburgh at the DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre in Bread Street on the same day. It forms part of their long-established Business Development Programme that aims to provide knowledge sharing opportunities.

The firm began hosting their Budget Briefings back in the late 1990s when Chancellor Gordon Brown introduced ISAs and Working Families Tax Credits. Although the political and economic landscapes have changed dramatically since then, the Thomson Cooper analysts will endeavour to deliver planning pointers to help business owners navigate the challenges ahead.

Managing Partner David Walker believes that content is the key to the event’s staying power, “Every year we gather feedback from our guests. They value the way our experts provide specific examples of how the Budget will affect them and what practical tax planning tips can be used to their benefit. Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years.”

Spaces at both events are limited so booking is essential. Register online at www.thomsoncooper.com or call Lynn Wardlaw on 01383 628800.
