The Scottish National Investment Bank partners with Black Professionals Scotland
The Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB) has partnered with Black Professionals Scotland (BPS) to support Black ethnic minority professionals across Scotland.
The Bank will work to provide greater professional opportunities for individuals within the Black community through its partnership with BPS, including an internship programme.
BPS, founded by Enoch Adeyemi, empowers Scotland-based Black ethnic minority professionals with skills and information to further their careers and supports school leavers and university graduates.
Kay Smith, executive director - People and Culture, said: “We are proud to partner with Black Professionals Scotland, an organisation aimed at supporting Black ethnic minorities and creating more opportunities for career development.
“Addressing inequality and improving access to quality jobs is key both to the Bank’s missions and its mandate to further equality, diversity and inclusion in the Scottish economy.’’
BPS founder and CEO, Enoch Adeyemi, added: “We are pleased to partner with the Bank as they embark on their journey of being an agent for change and we believe this partnership will be beneficial to the growing number of Black individuals and families who are choosing to make Scotland their home.”
