Perth-based finance broker, The Lending Channel, which is run by local brothers Alistair and Murray Ewing, has been honoured at a glitzy industry event in London.

The only Scottish firm to even make the short list won ‘Best Small Broker for Second Charges’ at the Loan Talk Awards held at 8 Northumberland Avenue in the capital.

The recognition comes just seven years after the business was established by the Ewing brothers along with Auchterarder-based Chartered Accountant, Elaine Scott.

Concerned primarily with what has become known as the ‘Specialist Property Lending’ market, the firm finds solutions for clients with often complex lending requirements.

Now trading across the UK, TLC has developed a wide panel of lenders including high street banks, new challenger banks as well as other secondary lenders.

TLC managing director, Alistair Ewing, said: “Murray and I were thrilled to win this prestigious award which is testament to our team’s hard work and dedication to our market. It is a fantastic start to 2017 and will provide us with a great platform to build on for the year ahead.”
