Scottish legal firm Stronachs LLP has bolstered its private client team with the appointment of Jennifer Taylor as tax manager.

Ms Taylor joins the firm from Burness Paull, where she spent 10 years, latterly as tax manager.

As a member of both the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ms Taylor will advise clients on tax compliance matters, including preparation of tax returns and reporting to HM Revenue and Customs.

With a particular interest in capital tax planning and trust and estate administration, she will also focus on advising individuals, trustees and executors on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax matters.

Stronachs partner, Jaclyn Russell, said: “We are delighted to have recruited Jennifer to the team. She brings with her an excellent track record in advising clients on all aspects of capital tax planning and her abilities are well recognised within the sector. Her appointment demonstrates our continuing commitment to strengthening our private client offering.”

Head of private client, Carol Crowther, added: “We are proud to have one of the most respected private client teams in Scotland, and the appointment of Jennifer further enhances the wide range of services we can offer to clients.”
