Ross Cooper, managing director of Stellar Insurance Reinstatement Services, said: “We acknowledge that during this surge period, we didn’t always meet the standard of service that we strive to deliver on every project, however, we did everything we could to provide the best possible outcome under extraordinarily difficult circumstances considering the large increase in workload resulting in the following.”

He added: “Whilst we have a surge plan in place this event was like nothing I had ever experienced in my 15 years plus career to date.

“We had to react in real-time, adapting to the here-and-now, and always kept our focus on delivering the quality service our clients expect, even in the face of extreme challenges.”

Despite the challenges, Stellar successfully completed 1639 projects in 2023, an increase of over 500 from the previous year. The company’s dedication to quality and client service has enabled it to not only weather the storm but to emerge stronger and more resilient.

The company, which began with just two employees eight years ago, has now grown to become the largest insurance reinstatement contractor in Scotland with a workforce of over 130 employees.
