STC INSISO appoints Steve Holmes as COO in executive leadership restructuring
STC INSISO has transitioned Steve Holmes to the role of chief operating officer following his two-year tenure as chief performance officer.
The Aberdeen-headquartered problem-solving company, announced the change to its executive leadership team as it prepares for accelerated business growth in 2023.
The change was triggered as former chief operating officer, Alan Smith, moved into the newly created role of Head of Investigations at the end of 2022, resulting in a rebalancing of responsibilities across the executive leadership team.
Mark Rushton, CEO at STC INSISO, said: “Moving into 2023, we are excited about what lies ahead for STC INSISO. Steve’s wealth of experience made him the obvious choice for the role of Chief Operating Officer, which will see him undertaking more responsibilities in the day-to-day running of the business and taking accountability for our People and Investigation workstreams.”
Prior to STC INSISO, Mr Holmes spent 13 years in senior health and safety roles within the oil and gas, rail, utilities, and waste management sectors. In his new position, he will be heavily involved in developing the company’s new product and service lines as well as upscaling current offerings.
Mr Holmes said: “There is a wealth of opportunities available for STC INSISO to expand our products and services, and my main focus will be on growing COMET – our flagship root cause analysis tool, as well as our learning and development offerings.
“I look forward to embarking on a more strategic role, allowing me to play a large part in helping the business meet its aspirations.”
