Standard Life Wealth appoints new head of operations
Standard Life Wealth, Edinburgh-based insurance giant Standard Life’s discretionary fund management arm, has announced the appointment of Andy Brodie as its new head of operations.
Mr Brodie, who will be based in London, will manage the Standard Life Wealth operations function and third party suppliers. He will be part of the Leadership Team and report to CEO Richard Charnock.
Having previously worked as a director with Barclays in the wealth and investment management sector as head of UK and western Europe, and global head of credit operations, he also holds cross-industry experience with O2 and Sky.

Mr Brodie replaces Karen Storie who is now head of business management Standard Life Wealth, responsible for “change delivery and a range of strategic transformation projects”.
Standard Life Wealth, has offices in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol and Leeds, provides both target return and conventional portfolios for high net worth private clients.
