Standard Life Wealth appoints new head of business management and strategy
Standard Life Wealth, the discretionary fund manager, has announced the appointment of Shona Sklaroff as the new head of business management and strategy.
Reporting directly to Richard Charnock, chief executive officer, Ms Sklaroff will have responsibility for managing Standard Life Wealth’s business and strategic plan, governance framework and communication strategy and will form part of the Leadership team based in Edinburgh.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Charnock, said: “Shona will be a terrific addition to Standard Life Wealth. She brings a breadth of experience and an impressive array of dynamic skills and strategic insight.
“We have ambitious plans to grow our business and Shona is an excellent addition, given her proven track record in leading high performing teams.”
Ms Sklaroff joins Standard Life Wealth from Bank of Scotland where she was senior area manager of mid-market corporate business. Prior to this Shona held various positions at Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of Scotland and HBOS and has extensive experience in business management, risk and strategy.
Standard Life Wealth, with offices in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol and Leeds, and an offshore presence in the Channel Islands, provides both target return and conventional investment strategies for private clients, trust companies and charities.
