Standard Life staff breaks fundraising record with £550,000 effort

The total was raised following a two year charity partnership between the Edinburgh-based insurance giant and the two charities.

The haul breaks the firm’s previous charity partner fundraising record.

The company said staff raised the impressive sum through their own skills and expertise, whether it was baking, running, walking, cycling, or providing support.

A statement from Standard Life said: “Our employees’ commitment to our charity partner has been fantastic. They are now putting this same energy and commitment into fundraising for Place2Be, who became our new charity partner in August this year.”
