Scottish non-alcoholic spirits company, Spirits of Virtue, has nearly reached its £400,000 crowdfunding goal on Seedrs with less than five days remaining in the campaign.

Founded in 2018 by brothers Roddy and Kerr Nicoll, the family-owned business has already sold over £3 million of its 26 unique, hand-crafted flavours across seven brands. The business’ products are exported to 16 countries and they also produce a private label for a major UK supermarket.

The funding will enable the company to expand its non-alcoholic spirit production facility, creating 65 new jobs and allowing them to reach 10 additional countries. This move solidifies their position as a leading player in the rapidly growing non-alcoholic beverage market.

Roddy Nicoll, Spirits of Virtue founder and managing director, said: “This is an exciting phase in the expansion of Spirits of Virtue – from early-stage innovator to revenue generating profit making international producer.

“This next step will see us move into what we believe is the largest dedicated non-alc spirit production facility in the world, creating an additional 65 jobs and allowing us to expand into a further 10 countries from our existing 21 global territories.

“Our funding so far has been through private and trade venture capital, this crowdfunding position is an interesting one as we solidify our preeminent position in the category as private label and branded non-alc spirits manufacturer.”
