Speirs & Jeffrey celebrates exam success

Investment management firm Speirs & Jeffrey is celebrating exam success from younger members of its investment management team.

Vicki Linton, James Mulholland, Cameron Pollock and Dominic Meade have all been recognised over the last few years for their individual performance in industry exams set by The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) - the leading professional body for the private client investment management industry.

Vicki, James and Cameron have all achieved the accolade of being the CISI Diploma Scottish Award Winner in their relevant year and Dominic has just recently achieved the highest mark in the Bond & Fixed Interest Markets paper across the UK.

Commenting on the achievements, Speirs & Jeffrey chief executive Russell Crichton, said: “I would like to offer my personal congratulations to Vicki, James, Cameron and Dominic. We strive to provide clients with the highest level of service possible and success in these challenging industry exams helps us to ensure we do just that.”

Speirs & Jeffrey employs around 150 staff at its single office in central Glasgow, with 32 qualified investment managers and an experienced research team of seven.

Mr Crichton added: “We continue to add to our investment management team via graduate entry at trainee investment management level augmented by more senior appointments as our business grows. Our focus remains in offering our clients a bespoke and personal service.”
