Sigma Capital directors awarded £845,000 in bonuses
Four directors at Edinburgh-based property group Sigma Capital have been awarded £845,000 in bonuses after a successful year.
The sum includes £350,000 granted based on Sigma’s overall performance last year and £495,000 linked to the performance of Sigma’s new private rented sector real estate investment trust (REIT), which has raised £250 million.
According to Insider.co.uk, founder and chief executive Graham Barnet received £400,000 in bonuses on top of his £447,000 salary, making a total pay package of £847,000, up from £497,000 the previous year.
Chief operating officer Graeme Hogg received £300,000 in bonuses over his £337,000 salary, rising to £642,000 from £373,000.
Finance director Malcolm Briselden, who was appointed in 2015, received £75,000 in bonuses over his £155,000 salary.
Property investment director Gywnn Thomson received £70,000 in bonuses over a £140,000 salary.
