Shepherd Chartered Surveyors promotes two residential surveyors
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has promoted two key residential surveyors operating at either end of the M8 corridor.
Kristofor Hall, based in the firm’s Glasgow South office, has been made a partner while Chris Weir, based in Dalkeith, is promoted to associate.
Commenting on the promotions, George Brewster, senior partner at Shepherd, said: “Congratulations to Tofor and Chris, whose well-deserved promotions have been made in recognition of the tremendous contribution both have made to the continuing growth of the partnership.
“By any measure, 2017 has been an exceptional year for Shepherd. It began with our merger with Hardies Property & Construction Consultants and concludes with these hard-earned promotions for two key residential staff.”
Having qualified with an honours degree in civil engineering in 2004, Mr Hall started his surveying career as an acquisition surveyor in 2005 before becoming an estates surveyor in 2006. In 2008 he received a Masters in Property Management and Investment, before joining Shepherd the following year.
After graduating with a degree in Building Surveying, Mr Weir joined the Scottish Borders Council as a Building Standards Surveyor, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2011. He joined Shepherd’s Musselburgh office in 2015, before transferring across to Edinburgh and then Dalkeith, where he leads the residential department.
