Scottish startup Trickle announces business wins and trio of new hires
Edinburgh-based startup Trickle has secured a series of business wins and made three new hires in line with its increased business activity.
A number of NHS regional boards in Scotland including NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Forth Valley have now signed up to Trickle’s wellbeing, engagement and communications platform Engage since the COVID-19 outbreak.
Trickle co-founder Joe Brock has rejoined the company, whilst Dominique Adams from DIGIT has joined the firm as marketing content manager and Alexa Freeman has been appointed as customer success manager.
Ms Freeman joins Trickle from OneYearNoBeer where she was the social enterprise’s coaching program manager. She has worked in the health and wellbeing sector for a number of years including as a health coach.
The Engage platform, which deploys an analytics dashboard and messaging functionality, enables an organisation’s people to have a place to share suggestions, issues and concerns as they develop throughout the working day. In turn, colleagues are then able to lend support to the posted ideas or contribute their own opinions to achieve greater collaboration and work towards better solutions.
Paul Reid, Trickle CEO and founder, said: “COVID-19 is a big and unanticipated change in work dynamic that is having a major effect on people’s wellbeing, mental health and work performance. Organisations can help to address the fear, anxiety and uncertainty felt by so many if they equip their people with the right digital tools to achieve their work goals, to feel connected with their manager and peers and have a sense of continuity in their lives.
“While everyone is under great strain at the moment, we are seeing the greatest uptake across the NHS in Scotland and now increasingly in the rest of the UK.
“We’re continuing to build the team this year and Alexa is a great hire for us, not least because of her customer focus and keen understanding of the whole health and wellbeing space. Alexa will help to strengthen our Customer Success team and make sure all our clients are on-boarded seamlessly.”
The Trickle team launched an extended free service to use its platform throughout the COVID-19 lockdown period in March, enabling companies and other organisations to be set up and running within 48 hours. The free-use offer is open until Friday 3rd July.
