Scottish startup selected as first reporting app on the QuickBooks Accountant Apps Program
Edinburgh-based cash flow forecasting firm Float has become the first reporting application to join Intuit’s QuickBooks Accountant Apps Program, a new platform designed specifically for their 300,000 accounting partners.
Startup Float is one of only eight partner apps chosen from a pool of more than 500.
The selected apps come recommended by accounting professionals, are fully compatible with QuickBooks Online and support single sign on via QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Float is a cash flow tool that helps businesses to plan for their future by providing accurate, real-time insights into their current and future cash position.
With QuickBooks Online Accountant, accountants can now connect their clients to Float at the click of a button.
Colin Hewitt, CEO of Float, said: “We know that moving from compliance to advisory services are an increasingly essential part of an accountant’s changing role. Float’s inclusion on the QuickBooks Accountant Apps Program means that accountants can confidently recommend and easily implement Float, which we see playing a key part in their advisory packages.”
Float was launched in 2010 to help small businesses gain insight into their finances, and in 2017 was named Best Forecasting, Planning and Analysis tool at the Software Excellence awards.
