Scottish signage company Prosigns acquires Centurion Signs
Glasgow-based signage company Prosigns has acquired East Kilbride signage and graphics company Centurion Signs, for an undisclosed sum.
Established in 2008 by Alex McGrath, Prosigns is a signage specialist working with a wide range of clients in the UK housebuilding industry, including Taylor Wimpey and Miller Homes.
Centurion is known for its printing and manufacturing of signage for drinks brands, food outlets, hospitality, and retail.
Mr McGrath, managing director and owner of Prosigns, said: “We are already trade partners with Centurion Signs, and having this opportunity to bring these two companies together will create a real first for the Scottish signage industry.
“Overnight, we have become Scotland’s second-largest signage and graphics company, and we’re really excited to be looking ahead to a bright future that brings together our vast experience at Prosigns, combined with the superb quality that Centurion has been delivering for its range of customers since 1971.
“Our strategic vision is to fully design, fabricate, manufacture and install each of our customer’s projects. This comprehensive approach will allow us to maintain complete control over the quality and delivery of every aspect of each job for our current customer base and new potential clients.”
While both brands will continue to operate separately, a new business structure safeguards 80% of Centurion’s workforce.
