Scottish Building Society launches online ‘Broker Portal’

Scottish Building Society is to launch its own Online Broker Portal be known as “Scottish Intermediaries Online”, the world’s oldest building society and Scotland’s last remaining independent mutual lender has announced.

Designed and built by Mutual Vision, the provider of software solutions to the financial services sector, the portal will serve the needs of the broker community in Scotland, SBS said.

With testing already underway, the system will be rolled out in stages over the rest of this year, initially with selected brokers.

A statement from SBS said: “Scottish Intermediaries Online will help brokers to provide the best solutions for their clients, and manage their workloads online effectively and efficiently whenever and wherever they find most convenient.”
