Scots Aegon director to join Royal London
Aegon UK customer innovation director at Gordon Greig is leaving the Edinburgh-based insurer to join rivals Royal London.
An Aegon announcement revealed that Mr Greig, who has been head of savings and investment at Scottish Widows and investment director at Prudential, will be leaving after six years at the Dutch firm.
While thedate of his departure has not yet been confirmed, it has been reported that he is set to become proposition delivery and performance director for intermediary pensions and protection at Royal London.
A Royal London spokeswoman said: “Gordon has an excellent record in developing customer focused propositions and will be accountable for the delivery of propositions that offer the best outcomes and experiences for Royal London customers.”
In previous roles at Aegon, Mr Greig was proposition development director, platform director and head of individual marketing.
He also sits on Aegon’s independent governance committee, a new requirement for all contract-based pension providers.
