Santander considers acquiring abrdn’s private equity unit

Spanish bank Santander, along with other interested parties, is considering to acquire abrdn’s private equity unit, it has been claimed.
It is unknown how many interested parties there are, however, sources have said deal is expected to be made in the next several months between abrdn and a buyer, reports Sky News.
The value of the deal could see the division valued at around £250 million.
