Saffery Champness appoints new partner
Accountancy firm Saffery Champness has announced that Eunice McAdam has joined the firm as a partner, based in its Inverness office.
Ms McAdam joins Saffery Champness after 26 years at EY, 16 of which she spent as an Executive Director.
Eunice provides assurance and advisory services to private companies, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit entities across Scotland and the wider UK, including those with overseas subsidiaries or ownership. She has worked with entrepreneurs and corporates across a variety of sectors, including education, oil services, manufacturing, retail and tourism.
Eunice has also worked with the not-for-profit sector, serving as a secretary or treasurer to several smaller local charities.
At Saffery Champness she will be part of both the firm’s Not-For-Profit and Entrepreneur National Practice Groups.
Eunice joins Saffery Champness’ rapidly expanding Inverness team, including Donald Forsyth who also recently joined as a partner from EY. She will also be working alongside fellow partners Susie Swift, Shirley Mathieson and Coll Murchison-MacDonald in Inverness.
Rob Elliott, managing partner of Saffery Champness, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Eunice to Saffery Champness. She brings with her a great depth of experience, and also knowledge of the local market, which enhances our Inverness office’s offering in the corporate, entrepreneurial and not-for-profit sectors. Our Inverness team has almost doubled in number over the last two years, and Eunice’s appointment will further strengthen our Highland presence.”
Ms McAdam added: “I am delighted to join the Saffery Champness partnership. I look forward to working with my fellow partners in Inverness, and across the UK, to continue to provide market-leading advice and a first class, partner-led service to our clients.”
