RSM appoints new Scotland and NI boss
RSM UK has announced the appointment of Alex Tait as regional managing partner for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Mr Tait, who joined the firm which boasts 35 offices across the UK as a trainee in 1996, previously headed up the assurance practice for Scotland and the North of England.
Alongside his leadership role, Mr Tait supports a range of audit clients across many sectors including professional practice, recruitment, real estate and infrastructure.
He succeeds Robert Ross who was appointed RSM’s chief operating officer last week.
David Gwilliam, CEO of RSM, said: “This is a hugely exciting period for the development and growth of the firm. With our breadth and depth of service and sector capabilities we enjoy the strongest regional presence in the middle market, and Alex will further strengthen and grow our market position north of the border.
“Alex joined the firm as a trainee and it’s great to see ‘homegrown’ talent progressing to senior roles within the business. His promotion is testimony to his talent and leadership qualities; and our ongoing commitment to training and development.”
Mr Tait said: “I look forward to working closely with the firm’s leadership team.”
