RSM appoints new corporate tax specialist in Scotland
Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has strengthened its tax practice in Scotland by appointing a new corporate tax partner, based in the Edinburgh office.
Ross Stupart joins RSM from KPMG where he was a director in the tax team, principally advising privately owned UK and multi-national businesses.
RSM said Mr Stupart brings a wealth of experience advising clients with a range of tax issues including acquisition and disposals; business succession; optimising tax relief claims; business restructuring and re-organisation; and international tax.
The firm added that with over 18 years’ experience, Mr Stupart has developed expertise working with the leisure and hospitality, construction, retail, food and drink and manufacturing sectors.
In his new role, he will provide tax advice to a growing number of corporate clients and their owners, and work closely with the team to grow the practice and its offering.
