Rettie & Co. continue expansion with Newcastle office

The move follows a successful similar southern move with the opening of a premises in Berwick upon Tweed as well as another opening in September in Newton Mearns, Glasgow, which saw the firm add to its three West Coast offices in Bath Street, Bearsden and the West End of Glasgow.

The firm also has two offices in Edinburgh, as well as branches in Melrose, Berwick and London.

The Newcastle office will be Rettie & Co’s tenth and will be headed-up by Rob Taylor.

Mr Taylor, who lived in Newcastle for over 25 years with over 20 years property experience at local agents General Accident, Sanderson Young and more latterly the Rettie & Co. Melrose and Berwick office, said: “I am extremely pleased to become Managing Partner of our new office in Jesmond which will enable us to tap into the Newcastle market and offer increased geographic reach across the whole of the North East.”

To celebrate the opening, Rettie will be offering homeowners in the Newcastle area a special 0 per cent sales fee.
