Redmill Advance acquires AKORN Education and welcomes new technical director
Edinburgh-based financial services training provider Redmill Advance has acquired AKORN Education as it welcomes Angelo Kornecki as its new technical director.
AKORN Education is a financial services education and training specialist. The acquisition of this team of teaching and financial services professionals will accelerate Redmill Advance’s plan to grow the business and increase services.
Most recently, Mr Kornecki was founder and tutor at AKORN Education. He has over 12 years of experience in financial services. He is also the managing director of AKORN Financial Advice Ltd and prior to founding AKORN Education he was a financial services lecturer at a local university centre, In this role he was responsible for course development and delivery. Prior to setting up the two companies Mr Kornecki also spent time at a local IFA and a major high street retail bank.

As a Chartered Financial Planner and P.G.C.E. qualified university lecturer, Mr Kornecki will lead the RM Advance technical and training team, continuing to ensure high-quality learning solutions are delivered.
