RBS supports entrepreneurs during Global Entrepreneurship Week
Ahead of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has announced it is running a series of events to help local entrepreneurs in Scotland to thrive.
Designed to provide support to founders at all stages of their business journey, RBS is opening the doors of its Accelerator Hub in Glasgow, as well as other locations across the UK, to provide a taste of its specialist programme.
From group coaching to social events and exclusive pitch clubs, the Royal Bank Accelerator programme supports and inspires entrepreneurial talent.
Running from November 18 to 24, Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual, weeklong celebration empowering entrepreneurs to drive economic growth through bright ideas and big ambitions.
As the UK’s biggest bank for business, RBS is supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week with an event series to help business leaders at various stages in their business development. These events will cover topics such as attracting investment and connecting with customers as well as providing advice on navigating the complexities of scaling a business.
The Royal Bank Accelerator supports and empowers entrepreneurs across Scotland to scale their businesses to the next level, through one-to-one coaching, a programme of thought leadership and events, access to a network of like-minded peers and full-time use of a modern co-working space.
One business already benefitting from the Glasgow Accelerator Hub is Creatify. Founded by entrepreneur Rory Skinner in 2016, Creatify has built a team of creative athletes dedicated to building and maintaining high-performing websites. Through a unique ‘Websites as a Service’ model, Creatify offers clients continuous updates and unlimited redesigns, all under a flexible monthly subscription. This innovative approach has been key to Creatify’s success in the competitive B2B website design market.
The business is backed by the Royal Bank Accelerator programme which helps scaling businesses to maximise their potential through one-to-one coaching as well as full use of co-working spaces and the chance to network and connect with other entrepreneurs across the UK.
Rory Skinner, founder & CEO of Creatify, said: “The journey to get where we are today has only been made possible through the dedication of our incredibly hardworking and committed team as well as the vital support offered by the Royal Bank Accelerator programme.
“Part of our success so far has come through creating an environment of likeminded, driven individuals and that’s why the networking opportunities afforded to us through the Royal Bank Accelerator have proved invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate in the industry.”
