The charity, which provides baby loss counselling and peer support for bereaved families, was recently given the donation at a special cheque presentation at the company’s Edinburgh office.

In attendance were RBC Brewin Dolphin’s head of Edinburgh office, Johnny McGlynn and head of Glasgow, Stephen Martin as well as representatives from the charity.

Over the last two years, colleagues from both offices undertook various activities to raise money, including bike rides, distance challenges and bake sales. The charity was chosen after some colleagues in the Edinburgh office experienced the trauma of losing babies.

Mr McGlynn said: “We were delighted to join forces with our Glasgow colleagues to support, through various fundraising efforts, such a wonderful charity which helps families going through the unimaginable pain of losing a baby.”

Mr Martin added: “Held In Our Hearts plays a vital role in the local community, addressing a sensitive issue.

“We were happy to have them as the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices’ chosen charity, and to play a small part in supporting their work.”
