RBC Brewin Dolphin expands Glasgow office with two key hires
Wealth manager RBC Brewin Dolphin has expanded its Glasgow team with the appointments of Keith Brooks as a chartered financial planner and Lyndsie Blackshaw as a paraplanner.
Mr Brooks, who has almost 15 years’ experience in financial services, joins RBC Brewin Dolphin from Aberdein Considine, where he advised high-net-worth and corporate clients.
Ms Blackshaw, with over 10 years paraplanning expertise, joins from Maplewood Wealth Management, where she supported advisers on retirement planning, cashflow modelling and investment portfolios.
Mr Brooks and Ms Blackshaw have been hired to support the increase in demand for financial planning advice that the Glasgow office has seen recently, with clients saying that the tax-efficient passing of wealth to the next generation is their main concern.
RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Glasgow office was established 28 years ago and over the past 12 years has seen the team double to 47, specialising in wealth advisory, financial planning and investment management. Its financial planning team has grown to 11 from four at launch in 2015.
