Quatro to open first dedicated base in Scotland
British public relations company Quatro is to open its first base in Scotland.
The London-based company has obtained Inverness-based agency System2, giving them a hold over three seats of the UK Government.
The opening of the new base means that Quatro now has offices in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Sheffield, and Inverness.
The firm also has plans to strengthen its presence in Scotland with plans to open another office in Glasgow.
Peter Kane, co-founder and director of System2, joins the board of Quatro as an executive director and will have vital responsibilities for strategic growth in Scotland and supporting UK operations.
Quatro specialises in political communications, as it advises its clients on engagement and relationship building with politicians and governmental bodies at a local, regional, national and international level.
Gary Pleasants, Quatro managing director, said: “We are delighted to have secured the team from System2 in having them join Quatro. In one fell swoop, we have greatly enhanced our delivery in Scotland. We are adding journalistic, design, digital, film and political strategy skills to our already successful team. We believe there are great opportunities for Quatro in Scotland and the wider UK as a result.”
He added: “We have worked on projects with the System2 team for quite some time with great success, so we know that Quatro will now be able to provide even greater services for more clients.”
Peter Kane, executive director at Quatro, said: “The team here is thrilled to now be part of a UK-wide agency. Quatro has an enviable reputation for success and expert knowledge in the PR and public affairs fields. My wife Suzanne and I created System2 and are grateful for the help and support that we’ve received in developing it.”
