Mr Morrison, an experienced restructuring expert, will operate out of Quantuma’s new Edinburgh office, marking the company’s second Scottish base and its 18th across the UK.

Mr Morrison, previously in a senior role for nine years at a national restructuring practice, has held key roles in the restructuring and recovery division of a mid-tier UK accountancy firm. His expertise spans conducting independent business reviews for lenders, providing advisory services, and leading formal corporate insolvency assignments across numerous sectors. Most recently he was involved in the administrations of a large grain supplier and of a cinema group.

His appointment follows the installation of Alistair Dickson as a managing director in Quantuma’s Glasgow office earlier this year. The firm has seen a surge in demand for its services amid ongoing economic uncertainty, which has ushered in challenging trading conditions for businesses across Scotland.
