Psigma expands Edinburgh office with business development hire

Psigma Investment Management has announced the appointment of Simon Kay as business development director of its Edinburgh office.

The firm’s premises in the Scottish capital opened in February 2014 under the leadership of Tim Wishart and Mr Kay’s appointment follows the December hires of Richard Hyder and David Robertson as directors.

Mr Kay joins from SEI Investments where he spent more than six years as a Director of Asset Management Distribution. With more than 17 years experience in the financial services sector, he has also worked at blue chip asset management companies Aberdeen, Investec and Close Finsbury.



Educated in Edinburgh and at the University of Stirling before, Mr Kay began his career in Scotland working for Standard Life and then for Friends Ivory & Sime.
