Psigma continues rapid expansion in Scotland
Psigma Investment Management has continued its rapid expansion in Scotland with its fourth appointment this year.
Susannah Green to its join Psigma’s growing ranks north of the border as she takes up her new role as senior investment associate to work alongside directors Richard Hyder and David Robertson, both of whom joined the firm’s Edinburgh office this year along with business development director Simon Kay.
Also based at Psigma’s office in the capital, Ms Green will report to senior investment director Tim Wishart.
She returns to Edinburgh having spent two and a half years as a senior investment associate in Psigma’s London office before a brief stint at an investment-writing agency.
Tim Wishart, head of Psigma’s Edinburgh office, said: “With four appointments in as many months we are clearly delivering on our ambitious growth plans for Scotland. Furthermore, with Scotland being a renowned centre of excellence for the investment management industry our growth is integral to Psigma’s business plan.”
Ms Green, who started her career with two and a half years at Brooks Macdonald after gaining an LLB in law with honours from the University of Edinburgh, specialising in taxation, family law, inheritance and trusts law, added: “I am delighted to be returning to Scotland and portfolio management at Psigma having very much enjoyed my time in their London office. The financial services industry is so dynamic in Scotland generating around £8bn for the Scottish economy.”
