R Finnie Skip Hire brings 17 experienced team members into the Binn Group family, adding to its existing workforce of over 140 employees. Longstanding Binn Group team member Fiona Labrum, who has managed the Shore Road depot for 22 years, will relocate to Inverness to take on the role of Site Manager.

Binn Group plans to invest significantly in its new Highland base – including in people, fleet, and operational infrastructure – and expects to create additional jobs as the site develops.

Founded in 1976 as a motorcycle sales company, R Finnie Skip Hire pivoted to skip hire and scrap metal services in 1990. Under the leadership of Robert Finnie and Carrie MacKay, who will both stay on during the initial transition period, the business has earned a strong reputation for dependable service and long-serving staff – many of whom have been with the company for over two decades.
