New premises for Aberdeenshire financial services firm following six-figure investment

Phil Anderson EllonA North-east based financial services company has made a substantial investment in the local economy after securing new premises in Aberdeenshire.

Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd, which has offices in Aberdeen and Caithness, has invested a six-figure sum into new premises for its Ellon operation, more than doubling the size of the office and meeting space it has in the town.

The new premises, in the former Ellon Times newspaper office, boasts three floors with large open-plan offices, meeting room space, a board room and an open reception area, situated on a prime Ellon High Street location.

The financial services company, which was founded in 2011 and specialises in mortgages, insurance, investments and pensions, obtained the new premises in December due to an increased demand for its services and the company’s increasing growth.

Phil Anderson, managing director of Phil Anderson Financial Services, said: “This is an extremely exciting time for the business and I am over the moon with our new premises. We have much more advanced facilities at the new office including new meeting space, which will allow us to meet even more client demands and welcome further clients to the office in general.

“This move will allow us to continue to grow the company organically throughout the next few years, as well as our staff base. Our services have expanded significantly since launching the business in 2011 and I am looking forward to the exciting journey the company has ahead of it.”

Ellon and District ward Councillor, Isobel Davidson, said: “I am delighted that Phil Anderson is moving premises to a shop front unit on Bridge Street.

“This is a successful local business and it will be great to see it moving to the main street in town to a location where it can promote itself and increase the footfall in the town centre.”
