Ms Cameron, a management accountant, joined the housebuilder earlier this month from Taylor Wimpey, where she served as finance manager for the last eight years. Prior to her career in house building, Ms Cameron worked within the food manufacturing industry where she spent 10 years as a site finance manager.

Following her appointment, Ms Camerson will manage the finances of Persimmon North Scotland as they expand their operations in the region, which includes developments in Fife, Perth and Kinross, Dundee, Aberdeen and Angus. Responsible for a team of four, Michelle will play a key role in the growth of the business.

Ms Cameron said: “I look forward to working with the rest of the business to ensure Persimmon continues to progress in a financially sustainable way to deliver quality new homes for local families across the region.”
