New finance director announces record results at Weightmans

Law firm Weightmans has announced its highest ever half year results as it welcomes a new group finance director.

The firm has announced a record half year revenue of £44m, up 7.3 per cent on the previous year and the first financial results since the introduction of its new structure and strategy in May 2017.

The news comes as the firm welcomes Bob Granger to the role of Group Finance Director.

Mr Granger joins the firm from Lakeland, where he was Finance and Retail director for 13 years and instrumental in the transformation of the business into a digitally focused and international business.

Mr Granger’s career spans retail, technology, hospitality and professional services, having also worked at Vodafone and PWC in a number of senior finance roles.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Weightmans at a time when we are reporting record results.”
