New executive team appointed at Wylie & Bisset

Wylie & Bisset, one of Scotland’s longest established, independent accountancy firms, has announced significant changes in the structure of their business.

The firm has announced that Ross McLauchlan, currently corporate partner, and insolvency partner Donald McKinnon are to assume the role of joint managing partners.

The move will see the duo lead a team which W&B said will be responsible for implementing the firm’s future growth strategy as it continues to develop its business offering throughout the UK.



With a combined 40 years’ at the company, McLauchlan having joined in 1997 and McKinnon in 1994, the pair can call on a wealth of experience.

W&B also announced that the new executive team will be assisted by Tom McGuire, who will continue to service his existing clients as well.

The firm said Mr McGuire will be “providing the exceptional and personal service that the firm continually strives to achieve.”

Mr McGuire said: “I am delighted with the new structure. I believe it to be the perfect blend of expertise and skills to drive the business forward in an increasingly competitive market. The new structure is in line with our strategy of continued improvement and development as a practice and service to our clients.”
