Murray International Trust chairman Simon Fraser dies at 62
Simon Fraser, the chairman of Murray International Trust, a fund managed by Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI), has died at the age of 62.
The directors of Murray International Trust announced today that Mr Fraser died in the early hours of August 9 following a short illness.
Simon Fraser joined the firm’s board in May 2020 and was appointed chairman in April 2021 and had already, in this short time, contributed significantly to the company.
The directors of the trust extend their sincerest condolences to Simon’s family.
On an interim basis, David Hardie, senior independent director, has agreed to chair the company and Alexandra Mackesy, non-executive director, has agreed to become senior independent director and to chair the Remuneration Committee.
