McCrea celebrates 15 years of sponsorship in Glasgow

McCrea Financial Services has celebrated 15 years of supporting the best of sport in Glasgow with a glittering event in the city.

Reflecting on excellence in their own fields, Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend joined his opposite number at Partick Thistle FC, Alan Archibald, speaking to guests at a specially organised gathering, hosted by broadcaster Eilidh Barbour.

McCrea Financial Services have been providing professional financial planning advice and assistance to individuals, businesses and charities since they were formed in 1999 by Managing Director, Douglas McCrea.

Based in Glasgow, but serving the whole of the UK, as well as clients abroad McCrea’s pride themselves on a professional and friendly service.

As part of a commitment to the city where it all started, McCrea’s provide strong support to both Thistle and the Warriors, as well as supporting other major sports, including World No. 1 & Wimbledon Wheelchair Singles & Doubles champion Gordon Reid, as well as the Scottish Seniors Golfing Society. McCrea’s have also been a key supporter of the Scottish Women in Sport Awards.

McCrea’s also have a long track record of supporting charity in Glasgow and beyond, having raised over £350,000 over the last decade. In 2016, the company is fundraising for Beatson Cancer Charity and Venture Scotland Trust.
