Maven-Capital-Partners-company-profile-logoGlasgow-based private equity house Maven Capital Partners has announced a £4.3 million investment in Cursor Controls Limited (“Cursor”), a designer and manufacturer of trackball pointing solutions for industrial applications.

A statement from Maven said Nottinghamshire-based Cursor, which has a history spanning decades, offers “the most comprehensive range of trackballs internationally and is the only independent company focusing solely on trackballs”.

The Maven funding, which is to be supplemented by senior debt from RBS Corporate Transactions, is designed to allow Cursor to “accelerate its growth plans through the continuation of its leading edge trackball development and by leveraging the broad-based patent protected IP which the company already holds”.
